I've been writing and sketching on and off since I was in middle school, granted, I was never quite as talented as some of my friends are, I would try here and there. Some of my art classes in college helped with a few of the finer techniques, though I still feel my skills as an artist are lacking. Then again, my comparison is between my works and those of MechaKraken's ability and those of our professors, M. Mastermaker, and R. Stuhmer (not sure if I spelled the last name right, its been a long time).

These two professors though, were among the best teachers I've ever had the pleasure of having class with, and I personally do not expect to have the level of talent that either man possessed.

My area of expertise, if it can even be called that, is writing. I'd like to believe that I have a way with words, and the ability to not only visualize a scene, but to describe it in such a way that I can paint that picture in the mind of my readers. I've put hours upon hours into developing the technique, and yes my spelling and grammar are far from perfect, I know I am improving.
